Saw a gentleman on the bus today with this tattoo. Wondered, “How has East Van become such a part of his life that he feels compelled to ink it on his body?” And then, “What if he finds a super sweet place in Kits?” And then, “What about when Main Street gentrifies to the point of being the next Kits?” I do not like where my neighbourhood is heading… away from East Van.
